Pi Labs Accelerator Program

Pi Labs (Property Innovation), is Europe’s leading PropTech VC and accelerator. We were approached to join this program in June 2017. We joined the accelerator in July 2017 and spent 3 months meeting investors, mentors, and training on weekly themed business workshops relating to marketing, finance, strategy, product etc. This program helped us learn a lot about how to take the business forward and scale to a national level and which areas to focus on.

    • Mentor sessions (Various Chief Execs / VCs / Angel Investors)
    • Pricing (CEO price intelligently)
    • Sales Training (IBM / Matterport)

    The core focus of the first month was really to deep-dive into your business model and understand the fundamentals of what / why / how / where's etc. of your business and where you want to take it.

    Each week we met various mentors, business owners and experts in their respective fields, this gave us an excellent oppurtunity to take a step back from running the business and really understand the focus of what problem we were solving, and how best to address each set of customers.

    In the second month we had a lot of training on general fundraising & pitching met with various Lawyers and law firms to discuss all of the essentials around shareholder agreements, equity , articles, Stock options etc.

    We met some incredible CTO’s with a vast amount of experience that helped to identify product enhancements and new functionality we could build for our products.

    We spent a lot of time working on designing presentations, pitch techniques, and pitching to investors.

    Month 3 was a real thorough dive into really understand your market, your unit economics, marketplace KPIs. Scaling up your business and attracting great talent. We had guidance from some incredible founders and CEO including the Founder / CEO of OpenTable.

    We spent time understanding how to pitch to investors, what sorts of metrics they want to hear and the criteria around who you should be pitching to, at what valuation and what target amount based on business traction.
